Do you have a hidden talent that our congregation doesn't know about? I can speed walk REALLY fast.
Tell us about yourself and your family. My name is Derek Mumm, and I've been pastoring in this community for a little over 7 years. I found the love of my life, Meg, while attending college at North Central University. Married since 2016, Meg and I can often be found consuming large quantities of chips and salsa, watching our favorite TV shows, and spending time with our two children, Ellis and Parker. If you don't find me with my family or at church, I'm undoubtedly sitting in a duck blind with my two dogs, Mack and Oakley.
What's the best part of working at The Bridge? The best part of working at The Bridge is the people who call this place home. I have never met a group that is more genuine, authentic, and down to earth. Their hunger for God is palpable, and the connection we share is like that of a family. The Lord is alive in our hearts, and I love getting a front-row seat to seeing him work in and through each and every single person.

What is your favorite book of all time? Win the Day -Mark Batterson
What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy Sunday? Watching the Vikings win and a nice Sunday nap.
Do you have a hidden talent our congregation doesn't know about? I was a mad trombone player in high school. I was the all-conference first chair for bass trombone.
Tell us about yourself and your family. I grew up as a pastor's kid in Little Falls, MN. I went to North Central, and a few years after graduating, I found my way to St. Francis. I have been here for two years now and love it.
What's the best part of working at The Bridge? The best part of working here is seeing students begin to realize their potential when they give their lives, dreams, and passions to God. Seeing a student grow and understand their identity in Jesus is something that will never get old. We have the best students in the whole world!

What is your favorite Bridge Event of the year? The Community Tree Lighting!
What is your favorite book of all time? Wait, people have favorite books? Maybe, “The Berenstain Bears Forget Their Manners”…
What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy Sunday? Basking in the sunshine with my family and neighbors.
Do you have a hidden talent that your congregation doesn't know about? I can bust out some pretty mean balloon animals! During high school, I surreptitiously participated in a traveling clowning ministry program… very undercover.
Tell us about yourself and your family. It’s been an adventure being hitched to my hubby, Brent, for a whopping 22 years! Our duo is completed by our spunky 15-year-old, Sky, and our fluffy sidekick, JoJo. We are living our best lives while camping, four-wheeling in the woods & excited to get back into hunting & fishing (though, only summer fishing for this girl!). Many evenings, you can catch us cozying up by a crackling bonfire and creating memories with our best pals, who conveniently all live in our neighborhood! During the week, I teach dance fitness classes for grown-ups looking to bust a move and help older adults find a better balance in TaiJiQuan.
What's the best part of working at The Bridge? The joy and excitement on kids' faces each time they see and greet me...I mean, it's a rare feeling to be genuinely welcomed with hugs from everyone at work each time you arrive. Also, (I know this is two things, but it HAS to be said) the leadership from Pastor Derek is second to none! He’s developed our team so completely & we all feel like we are truly blessed to get to work with our BFFs!

Do you have a hidden talent that your congregation doesn't know about? I sing but don’t tell Lexi. I had my first voice lesson at six and ended my senior year of college.
Tell us about yourself and your family. I was raised in Princeton, the youngest of five kids. I attended Trinity Bible College in ND and have degrees in Intercultural and biblical studies. I enjoy traveling and am always game for a day road trip or a ten-day family vacation.
What's the best part of working at The Bridge? I love seeing people grow in their faith and step out on the path God has for them. Working with some of my best friends doesn’t hurt, either.
